Junior Golf Program

Our Junior Programs are designed to instill fun and respect for the game of golf for the youth today - our golfer tomorrow. We feel this is a great way for junior golfers to learn the game and how to handle themselves on the golf course. We also have a junior club championship this year, with kids being paired by age and ability. The success of our events over the past few years has laid the groundwork for a strong and exciting junior golf program.

Bunker Hill Junior Golf League 2010
What: This year's Junior Golf League will begin with a meeting that must be attended by all junior golfers that wish to play in the Junior Golf League this season. The Junior Golf League will play every Tuesday morning at 6:30 AM, starting on June 8 and ending August 10.

When: Either Saturday, June 5th from 4 PM to 5 PM, Or Monday, June 7th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Where: Bunker Hill Patio (Not the Pavilion): 3060 Pearl Road

Yes, attendance at one meeting is mandatory. If you miss both meetings, you may not play in this summer's junior golf league. We encourage parents to attend with their child. **Juniors cannot register without a parental signature on the consent form.**

Agenda for the meeting:

Golf Etiquette (including league safety guidelines)
Course and League rules
Golfer Registration and gift hand out
Players…trade; tee times
Use and Misuse of the practice putting green
Method used to put players in flights

The entry fee for the league is $20. Greens fees are $15.00 per week this year with pull carts at $1.50. Golf tees will be free each week for those needing them. Golf League play is open to anyone who turns 10 by June 9, 2009 and does not turn 18 before August 11, 2009. Group Lessons will also be available for any golfers age 7 to 17. If interested, more information will be available at our meetings.

Bunker Hill is not responsible for lost or stolen items, inappropriate behavior, or injury/well being of clinic attendee. Attendees will be removed from the clinic for any inappropriate behavior and language deemed by the teaching staff without a refund.

Overview

Bunker Hill prides itself on treating members of the Junior League and Clinics as young adults. Our interest is not only to help junior golfers improve their game, but also to help them grow and mature. The Code of Conduct is not intended to scare players, but to have Junior Golf members understand the consequences of their actions.

Club Throwing and Cheating
Disrespect of Volunteers or Officials

Wee Tee's Golf Clinic

Introduction for 5, 6, & 7 year olds This golf clinic is shortened to accommodate attention spans and not discourage the child.

Where: Bunker Hill Golf Course (Simulator room at Bunker's)
When: Tuesday's at 10:45am till 11:15am. (5 consecutive 30 minute instruction)

2010 Junior Clinic

   Where: Bunker Hill Golf Course (Simulator Room at Bunker's)
   When: Tuesdays at 9:00
   11:00 AM (5 Consecutive 1 Hour Lessons, 1 Hour Extra Simulator time will be allowed each week)
